Northamptonshire Wedding Photography

Susan and Graham’s beautiful wedding took place in Northamptonshire, starting with a church ceremony followed by an evening reception at the Rockingham Forest Hotel.

The weather forecast for the day was rain, rain and more rain. However before Susan arrived at church the weather was surprisingly good and there was certainly no need for the umbrellas that she had planned to bring. As the wedding car drove towards to church I noticed the light disappearing and the sky getting darker and darker…

Leicester Wedding Photographer – New Walk Museum

New Walk Museum in Leicester was the unusual but stunning setting for Freya and Wayne’s wedding. I have lived in Leicester all of my life and visited the museum on many occasion and I had no idea that New Walk Museum even did weddings, so I was very excited when Freya and Wayne chose me to be their wedding photographer.

Freya Snow - We are so overwhelmed with our photos. Craigh is so talented and so professional, not to mention kind and friendly, he fitted in so well on our day. The pictures captured the day perfectly and are timeless. I can’t promote him enough. You will not get a better photographer. Our photos will be a lasting memory for years to come. Myself and Wayne are so proud of them. Thank you Craigh.

Northamptonshire Wedding Photographer – Plum Park Hotel Weddings

Plum Park Hotel in Northamptonshire was the stunning setting for Rachel and Rob’s spring wedding.

Rachel and Rob made it very clear that they wanted a very relaxed approach when it came to their wedding photography, which was absolutely fine by me as I was able to mingle in with the guests looking for interesting moments to photograph….

Sutton Bonington Hall Wedding Photography in Leicestershire

It was back in sunny August when I shot Chrissy and Adam’s stunning English wedding at Sutton Bonington Hall in Leicestershire.

It was the first time I had shot a wedding at this venue, which I always find exciting as it forces me to think on my feet when taking a shot, rather than having pre thought out ideas of how and where I will take the picture.

Although Sutton Bonington Hall is somewhat smaller than its sister venue Prestwold Hall…

Dunchurch Park Hotel Wedding Photography – Elizabeth and Jeremy

Elizabeth and Jeremy’s delightful wedding took place at the stunning Dunchurch Park Hotel in Warwickshire.

One thing that has struck me over the years of being a documentary wedding photographer is how surprisingly calm the bride is on the morning of her wedding day, and how unexpectedly nervous the groom can be.

One would usually assume that given the circumstances, it would be the other way around.
Usually when I walk into the room where the bride is getting ready, there is a hive of activity…

Chris Snowden - Beautiful photos. Amazing use of natural light

Leicestershire Wedding Photography – Gail and Andrew

So back in October, I was the documentary wedding photographer for Gail and Andrew at Prestwold Hall in Leicestershire. A very popular choice of venue for my couples in 2012. In fact, considering I only take on around 25 weddings per year, just under half of these were at Prestwold.

The day started off with Gail getting ready at a beautiful country farm house close to Bradgate Park in Leicester. The preparations were going very smoothly indeed and I decided to make my way to church to capture the bride’s arrival.

Chris Snowden - Wonderful Images. Loving your work

It’s all about quality, not quantity!

Being a documentary wedding photographer in Leicester, I am often asked when meeting potential clients about the number of wedding images they will receive after their wedding day. I’ve noticed over the years that this has become quite an important factor for couples when making their decision on which photographer to choose.

Glenn Mather - You are right, many couples simply want to know how many photos they will receive and appear to use that as some form of valid comparison between photographers. The photo of the children is absolutely fantastic – well done.
